On November 1, the Dong Nai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board handed over the boundary of the site clearance markers in the field of the Compensation, Support, Resettlement, and Site Clearance Project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
According to the feasibility study report of the Compensation, Support, Resettlement, Site Clearance Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Road 769, the total land area to be recovered to implement the project is more than 134 hectares in the communes of Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh, Dong Nai province. The total investment of the project is more than 3,000 billion VND.
Regarding the implementation of project investment procedures, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is appraising the technical plan to survey the construction design step implemented after the basic design of the Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project.
During the implementation process, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has also proposed that the Department of Construction consider, advise, and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to approve the addition of the planning of other intersections at the overpass level of the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line at Km1661+074 under the Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project.
The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 is nearly 30km long; the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province and the end point intersects with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province. The project has a total investment of more than 6,200 billion VND, implemented to increase connectivity and shorten travel time from localities in the province and provinces in the Central Highlands, the South Central region in general to Long Thanh airport.
Thereby, meeting the needs of transportation, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1, contributing to the socio-economic development of localities with routes passing through in particular, Dong Nai province and the key economic region in the South in general.
Currently, Provincial Road 769 is the main transportation and travel route from National Highway 51 to National Highway 1 and is located next to the Long Thanh airport project.
