An Giang - On the afternoon of October 21, the authorities found the body of a boy over 4 months old who had fallen into Xeo Ro canal, about 3km from his house.

On the afternoon of October 21, Mr. Vo Thanh Toan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Bien Commune (An Giang) - said: at around 3am this afternoon (October 21), the search force found the body of a boy over 4 months old who was suspected of having fallen into Xeo Ro canal. The location where the body was found was in Hamlet 5, about 3km from the child's house. Currently, the police and related units are still handling the case.

As reported, on October 20, the commune received information about the incident of Ms. L.T.K (born in 1999), the mother of a 4-month-old baby, reporting that her son was suspected of falling into the canal. The commune leaders have directed the police sector to directly coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Team, Rescue in U Minh Thuong area to coordinate plans to search for the child.

All day on October 20, divers from the professional force and the commune police dived and searched within a radius of about 3 km. Mobilizing vehicles including 3 motorbikes and rescue forces, military and commune police to continue the search. The child was still un found at the end of October 20.

In addition to the search and rescue force, there were also front forces and mass organizations that directly visited the family to encourage and visit.

It is known that Ms. K's family situation is very difficult, the locality and benefactors have provided immediate support of 10 million VND to the family to temporarily stabilize their lives at this time.
