A leader of Mai Hoa Commune People's Committee informed that at nearly 0:00 AM on July 11, functional forces in coordination with a number of charity teams and local people found the body of child N.V.H (6 years old, residing in Duc Tho commune, Ha Tinh province) under the Ngan Sau River, passing through An Giang village, Mai Hoa commune.
After that, functional forces completed the procedures and handed over the victim's body to the family for burial according to local customs.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 9, child N.V.H was taken by relatives to his grandmother's house in An Giang village, Mai Hoa commune to play.
At about 9:30 am on July 10, H left her grandmother's house and then went missing.
After efforts to search, functional forces found H's body in the Ngan Sau River. According to initial assessment, the victim died of drowning.
