Ho Chi Minh City puts into operation a 1.4-hectare bus station at the western gateway
Le Minh Xuan Bus Station is invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction), with an area of about 14,000 m2 (1.4 ha), with a total investment of nearly 70 billion VND.
The station is built on land adjacent to Vo Huu Loi Street, opposite the Canh B Canal 4 Bridge, capable of receiving 51 buses at the same time.
The project is invested synchronously, including parking lot, internal roads, pick-up and drop-off areas and items serving operations and utilities for passengers such as management, operation, lounges, ticket sales areas, newsrooms, medical areas, toilets, along with electricity systems, water supply and drainage and fire prevention and fighting. HCMC asks for opinions from 4 ministries on the project of road and overpass connecting Can Gio - Vung Tau
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent an urgent document to the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to ask for comments on the Report on the investment policy for the project to build a road and a sea overpass connecting Can Gio - Vung Tau.
The project is proposed under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, BT (build - transfer) contract invested by Vingroup Corporation.
The starting point of the route is at the East Sea 2 road, Can Gio coastal urban area, Can Gio commune, Ho Chi Minh City; the end point is at the planned Sao Mai - Ben Dinh road, intersecting with 30/4 road, Tam Thang ward. 18 wards, communes and special zones receive investment incentives in Ho Chi Minh City
On December 16, information from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that it had issued a decision to determine and announce the list of investment incentive areas; in particular, investment incentives in the city, including 18 commune-level administrative units.
In particular, Con Dao Special Zone is identified as an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions. 17 other commune-level administrative units are identified as areas with difficult socio-economic conditions, including: Tan Hai, Tan Phuoc, Phu My, Tan Thanh wards; Chau Pha, Nghia Thanh, Ngai Giao, Kim Long, Chau Duc communes, Binh Gia, Xuan Son, Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc, Hoa Hoi, Bau Lam, Binh Chau, Hoa Hiep.
All 18 of these commune-level administrative units were previously located in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (formerly in Phu My city, Chau Duc district, Xuyen Moc district and Con Dao district). See more...
