Commencement of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai BOT expressway project in April 2026
The Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway project with a total investment of nearly 20,000 billion VND is being focused on by the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board) to accelerate progress, aiming to start the main item in April 2026.
The expressway has a total length of 51 km, connecting from Ring Road 3 HCMC in Phu Hoa Dong commune to the end point intersecting with National Highway 22 in Ben Cau commune, Tay Ninh province. In phase 1, the project has a scale of 4 lanes, designed for cars to run at a maximum speed of 120 km/h and will be expanded to 6 lanes according to the plan in the future. Compressed air tank explosion in cold storage kills 1 person
On February 26, Long Hai Commune Police coordinated with functional forces to investigate and clarify the cause of a labor accident that occurred at a seafood processing facility in Long Hai commune (HCMC).
According to initial information, at about 10:30 am on February 26, at the seafood processing facility of H.V Co., Ltd. (Lo Voi hamlet, Long Hai commune), when company employees were discussing with Mr. D. V. N (born in 1975) about repairing a cold storage air compressor, the cold storage air tank nearby suddenly exploded.
The explosion seriously injured Mr. N in the buttocks, thighs, and left knees. The inflatable shell continued to hit Mr. P.V. H (born in 1985) and Mr. T.V.
