On November 20, Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Education and Training sector; 43 years of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

HCMC officially stops collecting fees for sidewalk and road use
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision to cancel Decision 32/2023/QD-UBND dated July 26, 2023 regulating the management and temporary use of part of roadways and sidewalks in the city.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction is developing a Project for management and exploitation of sidewalks and roads to apply to the entire city after merging Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
The goal of the project is to effectively exploit the sidewalk space for activities outside of traffic, while still ensuring safety, order and urban aesthetics. See more...
Ho Chi Minh City mobilizes all forces to prepare goods for Tet 2026
According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue of Ho Chi Minh City in the first 10 months of 2025 reached VND809,000 billion, up 14.5% over the same period, showing recovery purchasing power and market management efficiency.
To complete the annual growth target, the Department of Industry and Trade said it will continue to promote consumer stimulus activities from now until the end of the year, especially during the peak period of Lunar New Year. Image of the construction of the overpass across National Highway 13
On November 20, units are speeding up the construction of construction package No. 3 of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the section passing through the former Binh Duong province.

The construction project is nearly 9km long, from Binh Chuan intersection to Saigon River. Notably, in this section, there is a section of the overpass over National Highway 13. This is an important part of the project. The implementation of an overpass across National Highway 13 is an optimal solution for smooth traffic on both routes.

A girl in Ho Chi Minh City asked an old colleague to look after a newborn baby girl and lost contact
On November 20, the People's Committee of Di An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City issued a notice to find relatives for a newborn baby girl.
Previously, on November 15, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam (23 years old, unknown hometown) called Ms. Q. Ms. Tam made an appointment to meet Ms. Q in front of the company on Road 6, Song Than Industrial Park, Di An Ward.
Here, Ms. Tam suddenly asked Ms. Q to take care of her newborn baby girl about 3 days old. After that, Ms. Tam left.
