Medical Center returns billions of dollars collected and spent on the wrong subjects

BẢO TRUNG |

Dak Lak - CTRE Health of Cu M'gar district has collected the full amount of about 1.6 billion dong that the unit has collected in accordance with the regulations to return it to the beneficiary.

On October 12, Mr. Le Van Duyen - Deputy Director in charge of the Cu M'gar District Health Center (Dak Lak province) confirmed that the unit had recovered all the preferential occupational allowances (according to Decree No. 05/2023/ND-CP) that had been improperly paid to the wrong recipients to return to those who had previously been deducted (who were eligible for the benefit - PV).

The collected amount was deposited into the account of the grassroots union and was transferred by the accountant to the correct recipient, with the full amount they were entitled to receive. "For some retired or transferred officers and employees, they will receive the cash back at the grassroots union of the District Health Center," Mr. Duyen added.

Receiving back the preferential allowance that had to be deducted for others, an officer working at the Cu M'gar Medical Center shared: "We are very happy that the money has been returned to the right recipient, ensuring fairness and objectivity. Many people have been relieved of the resentment of having to pay back 10% of the preferential allowance to other employees while they themselves deserved to receive the whole amount."

On the other hand, in a recent report sent to the Department of Health by the Cu M'gar District Health Center, it was stated that the unit as a whole took responsibility and asked for profound lessons. However, no individual in the unit took responsibility for the violations that occurred.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "District Health Center slow to collect billions due to incorrect revenue and expenditure".

Noi dung bai bao phan anh, ngay 12.7.2023, Trung tam Y te huyen Cu M’gar to chuc Hoi nghi can bo vien chuc dot xuat nam 2023.

This conference adopted the content of supporting the officials and employees participating in the prevention of epidemics but did not enjoy the job incentives under the Government's Decree (No. 05/2023/ND-CP).

It is worth mentioning that the funding source for those who are not eligible will be taken from 10% of the amount of money that officials and civil servants receive preferential allowances according to Decree No. 05.

The allocation of support money will be carried out as follows: Board of Directors (receiving 90% preferential allowance), other officers and employees will receive equal support.

Regarding this incident, the officials and employees of the departments/offices and the Health Station, after receiving the preferential allowances according to Decree No. 05, returned them to the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Cu M'gar District Health Center.

The total amount of officers and employees paid over 1.6 billion dong.

Afterwards, Dak Lak Department of Health set up an inspection team, discovered the violation and requested Cu M'gar District Health Center to completely handle the collection and incorrect payment of vocational incentive allowances.
