According to records, many motorbike drivers participating in traffic, especially women, have the habit of wearing long, wide sunscreens that are not fixed carefully. This makes the shirt tarpaulin or sleeve easily stuck to the wheels, chains or moving parts, causing loss of control, falling and colliding with other vehicles, leading to injury.
Wearing a sunscreen that is too long can also obscure the rearview mirror, obstruct visibility or cover the motorbike's license plate, making it difficult to manage the vehicle and handle violations.
Faced with this situation, the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police recommends: People should choose sunscreens with a suitable design, neat, not too long or wide. Before departure, it is necessary to tie the shirt and sleeves and check carefully to avoid getting stuck in the moving parts of the vehicle. Do not cover your head, face or cover important parts such as lights, license plates and rearview mirrors, to ensure safety for yourself and the community.
