For members of the City Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Steering Committee according to their assigned functions and tasks, they should strengthen propaganda and mobilize civil servants, public employees, and workers to participate in voluntary blood donation to ensure achievement and exceeding assigned targets.

Departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and socio-political organizations of the city coordinate and support the work of mobilizing voluntary blood donation to contribute to ensuring adequate blood supply and blood products to better serve the treatment and emergency care of patients.
Assign the City Red Cross Society - Standing member of the City Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Steering Committee to guide and urge the implementation of voluntary blood donation Campaigning in 2025 to achieve and exceed assigned targets, promptly resolve arising issues under its authority, proactively propose and report to the City People's Committee for consideration of contents beyond its authority.
For Can Tho City Department of Health, the City Hematology - Blood Transfusion Hospital will coordinate with the City Red Cross Society to organize blood reception, ensuring safety before, during and after the blood collection process for blood donors; direct public and non-public health units in the city to strengthen the work of mobilizing and calling on medical staff and workers at the unit to participate in voluntary blood donation.

In particular, the People's Committees of communes and wards direct specialized units to coordinate with local unions to maintain the work of mobilizing voluntary blood donation in the area; direct specialized departments and offices to coordinate and register with the City Hematology - Blood Transfusion Hospital and the City Red Cross Society to organize voluntary blood donation. From November 21 to the end of 2025, at least 2 blood donations must be made.
It is known that at Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, the hospital's blood reserve is decreasing. Many emergency patients and patients being treated in Can Tho as well as the Mekong Delta are in need of safe blood to maintain their lives.
