The Bat Xat District General Hospital project was approved at the end of 2021, with a total investment of 230 billion VND, using the central budget for the period 2021 - 2025 and the central budget for the same period.
The project has a scale of 4 to 7 floors, including administrative - management block, examination and treatment area, total floor area of about 13,000 m2. The investor is the Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
After more than two years of implementation, many main items of the project such as the professional technical house and medical examination, administrative area - medical center, and yard between the two houses have been basically completed.
On October 26, according to the reporter's records, the project is currently entering the completion stage of auxiliary items such as internal traffic, landscape and connecting corridor system.
At the construction site, machinery and workers are still working urgently to keep up with the progress.
Ms. Phan Thi Nga (residing in Bat Xat commune) shared: "We hope the project will be put into use soon to serve people in the highlands, avoid waste and help people have more convenient conditions for medical examination and treatment".
According to the report, the construction progress of the project is currently over 95%. The consortium of Lao Cai Provincial Construction Joint Stock Company - Dysentery Exclusive Company Limited and the consortium of ATK Construction One Member Co., Ltd. - Quang Sang Construction Investment Company Limited - Hoang Tuan Construction Company Limited are in charge of the construction.
Through investigation, the People's Committee of Bat Xat commune is currently organizing a dialogue and mobilizing people with shared land use rights to serve the Bat Xat Regional General Hospital project.
In the spirit of a frank and transparent dialogue, many households have agreed to receive compensation and hand over the site before November 13, 2025.
The People's Committee of Bat Xat commune affirmed that the origin documents, land use process and compensation plan are all in accordance with regulations, and will continue to invite dialogue, listen and accompany the people.
The commune government emphasized that the goal is to ensure the legitimate rights of the people, strictly maintain legal discipline, and at the same time maintain the progress of the Bat Xat General Hospital project to serve the medical examination and treatment of local people.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Le Van Duc - Project Management Director of Bat Xat Regional General Hospital - said: "Implementing the direction of authorities at all levels and the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the investor often urges contractors to speed up the construction progress.
Some problems in the site clearance process are being actively resolved. We strive to put the project into operation and use before Tet".
