On April 28, Bac Giang Provincial Police informed about the recent emergency arrest of Nguyen Dang Cong (born in 1994, in Truong Son Commune, Luc Nam District, Bac Giang Province) for investigation into the act of murder and illegal use of weapons.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of April 24, a group of guests sang at Van Vu karaoke bar in Dong Dinh village, Tien Nha commune.
At about 6:15 p.m. the same day, the group of guests had a conflict with a subject who was also at the karaoke bar.
During the fight, the subject used a gun ( type of gun not yet determined) to fire many shots at Mr. Duong Van N (born in 1988) in area 8A, Quang Hanh ward, Cam Pha city (Quang Ninh). Of which, 1 bullet hit the chest and 1 bullet hit the thigh.
Upon receiving the report, the police force arrived to control and clarify that the shooter was Nguyen Dang Cong (born in 1994) in Lam village, Truong Son commune ( Luc Nam). It is known that Cong is the son-in-law of the owner of Van Vu karaoke bar.
Mr. Duong Van N was taken to the emergency room and his health is now stable.
Bac Giang Provincial Police have issued an emergency detention and arrest warrant for Nguyen Dang Cong for investigation. The professional departments of the Provincial Police continue to coordinate to resolve the case according to regulations.
