The Ministry of National Defense and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province have agreed on the location and information of a housing project for the armed forces' families in Bai Chay ward on a land with the symbol D.OM-13, with an area of 11,654 m2.
Investment objective: Invest in building housing for armed forces families in the army, ensuring housing needs for officers and soldiers of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command and military units stationed in the area and neighboring areas.
Construction scale: Total construction area is about 69,954 m2, of which the basement (or semi- basement) area is about 4,662 m2; Construction density is about 40%; Land use coefficient: 6.0 times.
The height of the project is 15 floors; Number of basements (or half-tonels): 1 floor. The total number of apartments is expected to be 730, including 620 houses for the armed forces and 110 commercial apartments. The expected population is about 3,000 people.
The total investment capital of the project is more than 1,130 billion VND.
Project implementation progress:
The total implementation period is 39 months from the date of the land allocation decision of the competent authority.
Complete investment preparation procedures for the first quarter of 2026.
The project will be completed and put into use by the end of the first quarter of 2029.
The project is entitled to incentives and support for social housing construction investment projects according to the provisions of the law on housing and current regulations.
