Processing and manufacturing industry, wholesale and retail, construction are the 3 industries forecast to have the highest recruitment growth in March 2026 in Hanoi.

On March 12, the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that the labor market in February 2026 shows a clear shift after the holidays, with the demand for official personnel recruitment increasing sharply to implement business plans.

Accordingly, the manufacturing and construction industry recorded a breakthrough in human resource demand when increasing by 15.8 percentage points compared to January 2026. The salary segment from 5 - 10 million VND/month still dominates with 69.7% of total recruitment demand, reflecting the efforts of businesses in stabilizing the production team immediately after Tet.

In February 2026, the number of applications for unemployment benefits reached 2,402 applications, a significant decrease compared to the previous month. This decrease shows the attachment to work of workers after receiving Tet bonuses, helping the labor market maintain stability. The city has created jobs for 10,700 people, through forms such as loan entrustment, labor export and job transaction sessions.

The labor market forecast for March 2026 will continue to develop positively as businesses promote stable production and business. Fields forecast to have high recruitment demand include: Processing and manufacturing industry (up 5%); wholesale and retail (up 4%); construction (up 3%).
