The class is organized by the Women's Affairs Committee in coordination with the Life and Handicrafts Club of LVS (Faculty of Linguistics and Vietnamese Studies), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (Vietnam Education Union).
According to the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the class aims to create a space for exchange, helping children practice soft skills, dexterity and creativity during the summer vacation. The experience class takes place from July 15 to 28, 2026.
At the class, children will experience many handicraft activities and rich skills: learning basic crochet crocheting; making paper flowers, artistic velvet shingles flowers; artistic cladding... In particular, children are also guided on presentation skills and product display in the year-end summary session, thereby fostering more confidence when presenting in front of crowds.
Representatives of the School's Women's Union said that this is a practical activity to care for the spiritual life of children of officials and employees during the summer, create a useful and safe playground, help children stay away from electronic devices and have more necessary life skills, and at the same time connect families of officials and employees in the school.
During the opening ceremony, the children got acquainted with the instructors, learned about the curriculum and experienced the first activities. The atmosphere was joyful and exciting, many children were excited about the handmade materials that were prepared. It is expected that at the end of the course, the children will display products made by themselves and present them to friends and parents.
This is one of a series of activities to care for union members and workers that the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is implementing in 2026, aiming to build a cohesive and humane working environment.
