According to statistics from the Department of Overseas Labor Management, in the first 7 months of 2025, the whole country sent 85,781 Vietnamese workers to work abroad under contracts, reaching 65.9% of the annual plan (130,000 workers).
Japan continues to be the market receiving the most Vietnamese workers with 39,558 people (17,460 female workers). Taiwan (China) ranked second with 32,471 workers (10,271 female), followed by South Korea with 7,340 workers (683 female). Markets such as China, Singapore, Romania and Hungary also maintain stable demand, expanding job opportunities for Vietnamese workers.
In July 2025 alone, 11,090 workers left the country, including 3,374 women. Japan leads with 4,318 workers (1,536 female), followed by Taiwan (China) with 4,265 workers (1,265 female) and South Korea with 1,690 workers (126 female). Some other markets such as China (258 workers), Singapore (204), Romania (28) and Hungary (7) also continue to receive Vietnamese workers.
Maintaining a stable growth rate in traditional markets, especially Japan, Taiwan (China) and South Korea, has contributed to affirming the quality and reputation of Vietnamese workers in the international market. This is also a testament to the efforts of businesses in proactively expanding the market, improving the quality of recruitment and training of workers.
The labor sector continues to promote the work of sending workers to work abroad in the last months of the year, while ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of workers when working in international markets.
