Those identified as district-level civil servants

Those identified as civil servants in district-level administrative agencies are based on Decree No. 06/2010/ND-CP.

Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 06/2010/ND-CP stipulates that civil servants in administrative agencies at the district level include:

a) Chief of Office, Deputy Chief of Office and staff working in the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee;

b) Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the district, Chief of Office, Deputy Chief of Office and people working in the office of the People's Committee of the district where the People's Council is not organized in the pilot program;

c) People holding the positions of head, deputy head and people working in professional agencies under the People's Committee.

According to Article 2 of Decree No. 06/2010/ND-CP, civil servants are Vietnamese citizens, recruited, appointed to ranks, positions, titles, in the payroll, receiving salaries from the state budget or guaranteed from the salary fund of public service units according to the provisions of law, working in agencies, organizations, and units specified in this Decree.
