Receiving more than 1,000 grassroots unions after the dissolvement of district unions

    Thanh Hoa - After dissolving 29 trade unions at the grassroots level, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor will receive and manage more than 1,000 grassroots trade unions.

    On June 21, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decision on receiving grassroots unions and union members under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

    According to the decision, the Provincial Federation of Labor will receive 1,044 grassroots unions with 298,614 union members from district, town and city Federations of Labor; Trade Unions of Provincial Party agencies; Trade Unions of the Provincial People's Committee; and Trade Unions of Nghi Son Economic Zone and industrial parks, from June 30, 2025.

    The above units are responsible for fully implementing the procedures for transferring grassroots trade unions and union members to the Provincial Federation of Labor before the end of operations according to regulations.
