From 2020-2025, emulation movements launched and implemented by the Trade Union attracted a large number of union members and workers to participate with the spirit of solidarity, solidarity, unity, determination... Including the emulation movement to build a 500kV line 3 from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).
Responding to the emulation movement "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure, practicing thrift and fighting waste" and the Prime Minister's conclusion on solutions to promote the completion of key projects and works... on February 27, 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with Vietnam Electricity Group launched an emulation movement at the construction site of the 500kV line 3 project.
At the launching ceremony, union members, workers and representatives of the electricity industry and contractors signed an emulation agreement with the goal of the 5th most competitive: "Fastest progress; Best quality; Best safety - economy; Most creativity; Best care for life" associated with the Prime Minister's strong guiding motto.
The emulation movement has inspired, created an enthusiastic, spiritual and motivated working atmosphere on the construction sites, contributing to achieving the goal of "Fastest progress; Best quality".
The Prime Minister's orientations and instructions on "only discussing work, not retreating", "holidays, during Tet, during holidays", "3 shifts, 4 teams", "eating and sleeping urgently" ... have been regularly and continuously informed by the media and trade union officials at all levels to union members and workers, becoming a widespread effect, creating a spirit and working atmosphere, urgent and active in all working positions at the construction site.
The spirit of solidarity, joint efforts, and determination to complete the project at the construction site has been strongly spread among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the electricity industry.
When it was necessary to increase the force for sprinting water emulation, thousands of union members and workers wrote volunteer petitions asking for "hospital support" for the Bach 3 construction site. To participate and contribute to the 500kV circuit 3 becomes the pride of every worker.
According to the records of trade unions at all levels, the enthusiastic competitive atmosphere at the construction site not only spread widely among the working class, but also spread to the entire social community, armed forces, youth union members and people in the localities where the project passed through.
The emulation movement has created a spirit of overcoming difficulties and challenges, many initiatives, and new ways of doing projects to ensure "Fastest Progress", "Saest - Most economical" and have the most "Creative".
On August 29, the 500kV line 3 project was officially inaugurated. 4 groups and 17 individuals have been awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has promptly recognized and rewarded outstanding initiatives that have been effectively applied at the construction site of the 500kV line circuit 3. A typical example is the initiative "creating operating prices to serve the installation of pipe columns" proposed by workers of Song Da Construction and Service Joint Stock Company, which has contributed to speeding up the column construction progress from 50 - 55 days to 40 - 45 days, in addition to saving construction costs if the entire route is counted up to tens of billions of VND.
