On the afternoon of November 20, the Steering Committee for Science - Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation of Ho Chi Minh City held a conference to launch a 15-day and night campaign to clean up and standardize data on Party organizations and Party members, and at the same time deploy instructions on the use of "Electronic Party Members Handbook".
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Committee Dang Quoc Toan said that as of October 9, the entire Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee had 365,911 active party members whose citizen identification cards had been updated on the Party Committee Database 3.0 software, reaching a rate of 100%.
At the same time, the Party Committees of wards, communes and special zones have also deployed the "Electronic Party Member Handbook" to each Party cell and grassroots Party Committee. Currently, 95/173 units have had more than 50% of party members install and log in to the software; of which 36 units have reached a rate of over 80% of party members accessing it. The remaining units are continuing to standardize data and instruct party members on how to use the application.
In his speech, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong emphasized that this campaign aims to meet the immediate requirement of widely using the "Electronic Party Member Handbook" application.
In the long term, this will be the foundation for specialized information systems on organization and Party building in the entire Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
To achieve the goal, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong requested each party organization, each party committee and all party members to focus on implementing the following key tasks:
By November 27: 100% of party organizations will complete the review, cleaning, and standardization of data on Party organizations and party members, ensuring accurate, complete, and unified information and sending it to the City Party Committee's Organization Committee.
By November 30: The City Party Committee's Organizing Committee coordinates with the City Party Committee's Office to synthesize data and send it to the Department of Digital Transformation - backgrounds to synchronize with the "Electronic Party Committee Handbook" software.
By December 3: 100% of Party cells in the whole city organize regular activities on the Electronic Party Members' Handbook, initially forming the habit of digital work in Party activities.
Mr. Dang Minh Thong emphasized: "The goal is challenging but completely feasible if each Party committee, each Party organization and each Party member are united, act resolutely, urgently and seriously".
The leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also recommended that each party member proactively check personal information on the application. If errors are detected, they must immediately report to the Party Committee for synthesis and sent to superiors for correction.
