According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap province, the 2025 high school graduation exam will increase in all three aspects. The whole province has 17,756 candidates registered to take the exam (including 2,454 candidates in the continuing education system, 633 free candidates) with 759 exam rooms located at 39 exam locations in districts and cities in the province.
Of which, Lap Vo 1 High School (Lap Vo District) is the exam score with the largest number of candidates compared to the remaining exam scores in the province with 889 candidates registering to take the exam, an increase of 58 candidates compared to the previous year. Due to the increase in the number of candidates, the school had to use 8 classrooms of Lap Vo Town Secondary School as exam rooms.
To ensure the exam is safe and successful, the Department of Education and Training has advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish a Provincial Exam Steering Committee headed by Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang. At the same time, organize the dissemination of exam regulations for managers and teachers to review the exam and strengthen the work of ensuring facilities, security, order, traffic safety, and health at the exam locations.
Up to now, preparations have been completed, such as: arranging exam rooms, offices of the exam scoring, exam room, exam questions as well as equipping a backup generator to ensure electricity for the exam. In particular, the coordination to ensure security, order and traffic safety was implemented to ensure the days of the exam, there were forces to ensure security and order, regulate traffic flow as well as instruct parents to park their vehicles in accordance with regulations at the exam locations.
