Ministry of Education and Training: Sudden stopping of extra classes affects students' psychology
After a month of implementation, Circular 29 on extra teaching and learning has created a positive impact, changing the awareness of teachers, students, parents and society. Management levels have also gradually adapted to the new regulations, contributing to improving the effectiveness of management of extra teaching and learning.

However, the implementation process still faces some difficulties, such as many schools suddenly stopping tutoring, affecting the psychology of students and parents; delays in implementation instructions of localities; lack of facilities; low pressure for exams and self-study skills of students.
To overcome this, the Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to classify students to have appropriate review plans, innovate testing methods to reduce the pressure of extra classes. At the same time, departments of education and training need to support teachers in registering for legal tutoring and strengthen inspection. In the long term, the Ministry proposes to increase the budget and mobilize resources to expand schools and classes, reduce enrollment pressure, and ensure the right to study for all students. Inspecting and reviewing the case of more than 311 teachers whose insurance is being collected
Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province is inspecting and reviewing the case of 311 teachers who were charged more than VND 4.6 billion in insurance, including fines for late payment.
In 2011, the People's Committee of Nam Dan district decided to collect the salary for teachers on the payroll, but educational institutions did not complete the procedures with the finance and social insurance department. Therefore, up to now, Nam Dan District Social Insurance has implemented the collection according to regulations, causing many teachers to be surprised and worried, especially about the late payment fine.
While Nghe An Social Insurance affirmed that the collection is in accordance with the provisions of the Social Insurance Law, many teachers hope that the authorities will reconsider, especially the fine for not being notified in time. Nam Dan District People's Committee will report to superiors and propose solutions to ensure the rights of teachers. See more...
