Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen said that he had a working session with Vietnam Infrastructure Investment Group Joint Stock Company regarding the investment in the Tac Thu Industrial Park project in Khanh An commune.
Representatives of investors informed about the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Tac Thu Industrial Park, with a land use scale of 345ha, total investment capital of nearly 4,000 billion VND. The industrial park was formed and attracted more than 20,000 workers.
Based on exchanges with investors and opinions from departments and branches, leaders of Ca Mau province agreed with the proposal to invest in the Tac Thu Industrial Park project. The Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee requested departments, agencies, branches and related units to urgently promote procedures, ensure compliance with requirements, on schedule, and create conditions for the project to be approved and implemented soon.

Previously, in November 2025, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision approving the 1/2000 scale planning project for Tac Thu Industrial Park sub-area in Khanh An commune.
According to the approval decision, Tac Thu Industrial Park has an area of 345ha, with defined boundaries: north bordering Khanh An Industrial Park; south bordering Khanh An New Urban Area; east bordering Ong Doc River; west bordering Vo Van Kiet road.
The land use system includes groups: industrial production land 231.03ha (66.97%); transportation land more than 46.6ha; green and water surface land more than 39.38ha; service land 12.04ha; technical infrastructure land 13.44ha; security land 2.51ha.
According to the plan, this is a green, smart, multi-industry industrial park, including industries from the potential strengths of Ca Mau province and industries using natural gas energy such as agricultural product processing industry; seafood processing industry; animal feed and fertilizer processing industry; mechanical industry; electronics industry, textiles, consumer goods production; processing industry of forestry products; construction materials industry; gas processing industry. Approaching modern trends including reducing emissions, moving towards carbon neutrality; developing symbiotic, circulating and reducing energy consumption.
Prioritize high-tech and specialized industries such as energy industry - new energy (hydrogen, green ammonia...), electronics - digital technology, manufacturing - automation, new and nano materials, biotechnology... Synchronous connection with Khanh An Industrial Park infrastructure, inland waterway port and wharf system on the Ong Doc River inland waterway. Developed according to the industrial - urban - service model associated with Khanh An urban development and some other types of industry.
