Ca Mau artists are not outside the development of the province

The Congress of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Art Associations of Ca Mau province for the term 2026 - 2031 re-elected Mr. Do Ngoc An as Chairman, and Ms. Ngo Thanh Nha as Vice Chairwoman.

After 2 working days (May 4th and 5th), the congress took place seriously and democratically, recording many heartfelt opinions from artists and writers on the development of literature and art in the province. Delegates approved the summary report for the 2020-2025 term, new term directions and many other important contents.

The Congress took place with a spirit of democracy and responsibility, recording many heartfelt opinions from artists and writers on the development of literature and art in Ca Mau province. The delegates approved many important contents, including the summary report for the term 2020 - 2025 and directions and tasks for the term 2026 - 2031; review report of the Executive Committee of the previous term.

The Congress affirmed the role of the Provincial Union of Literary and Art Associations in contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, and at the same time emphasized the requirement to continue to innovate content, operating methods, and improve creative quality to meet practical requirements.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of term I, term 2026 - 2031, consisting of 19 people. At the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee consisting of 6 people; Mr. Do Ngoc An was re-elected Chairman, Ms. Ngo Thanh Nha held the position of Vice Chairman.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang requested the Union to continue to consolidate solidarity, build the organization to truly be the common home of artists; pay attention to developing members, taking care of the material and spiritual life of members. At the same time, he emphasized that in the context of digital transformation and strong development of the country, the team of provincial artists cannot stand aside, it is necessary to actively contribute to the common development of Ca Mau province.
