On December 4, in Hanoi, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) warmly received Mr. Ha Vi, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam; at the same time, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, received 500,000 USD from the Chinese Government through the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam to send to people in the provinces to overcome the consequences of floods.
At the reception, Ambassador He Wei conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Politburo member and Chairman of the National Political Commissar of China Vuong Ho Ninh to Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai; and congratulated Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai on being elected by the Board of Directors to hold the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.
In response to the heavy damage caused by floods to people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, the Chinese Government has sent 500,000 USD through the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods in Vietnam.
Expressing his emotion at seeing the image of General Secretary To Lam, along with Party and State leaders, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front directly sharing with people in flooded areas, Ambassador He Vi affirmed: Although this amount of money is not large, it shows the affection of the Chinese people to the Vietnamese people, with the desire to contribute to "sharing the sweet gifts", helping the Vietnamese people overcome the difficulties of storms and floods.
Mr. Ha Vi believes that in the coming time, with the continued expansion of high-tech science development and expansion of new development materials, it will be a premise for cooperation between China and Vietnam.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai stated that in recent times, the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries has maintained a strong and active development momentum. contacts between senior leaders of the two Parties and countries were enhanced, especially the bilateral visits of General Secretary To Lam (August 2024) and General Secretary and President Xi Jinping (April 2025), as well as high-level contacts in late August and early September 2025 when for the first time in history, three key leaders of the two sides visited and attended important multilateral event celebrations in each country.
President Bui Thi Minh Hoai also informed that in Vietnam, in the context of rapid and complicated changes in the world and regional situation; with the correct and timely leadership of the Party and State, along with the consensus and efforts of the entire people, Vietnam continues to maintain the momentum for socio-economic recovery and development. GDP growth in 2025 is estimated to reach over 8%, the scale of the economy exceeds 510 billion USD. People's lives have been improved, social security has been ensured. In particular, the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus and operating the local government model at two levels has been vigorously and effectively implemented, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system's operations, while opening up new development space for the country.
Currently, Vietnam is actively preparing for the 14th Party Congress with many innovations. The general spirit of the draft Document submitted to the 14th Congress is the aspiration for strong development, innovation in thinking, promotion of human resources and promotion of science and technology, towards the goal of Vietnam becoming a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030, and by 2045, becoming a developed country with high income.

Referring to the severe impacts caused by natural disasters on the Vietnamese people in 2025, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that during those difficult times, Vietnam has received the attention and sharing of the international community, with a total value of nearly 16 million USD in emergency aid. According to Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, the Party, State and people of Vietnam attach importance to developing long-term friendly, cooperative and stable relations with China as a consistent policy, an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority in its foreign policy. In the overall Vietnam - China relationship, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Political Commissar of China have always maintained annual high-level delegation exchanges and coordinated the organization of workshops to share experiences and people-to-people exchanges, notably the Friendship Exchange Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Political Commissar of China and the Fatherland Front - Political Commissars of the two provinces/ominast regions held in 2019, 2023 and April 2025.
