The coaching staff of the relay events of the Vietnamese Athletics Team said that as soon as they returned to Vietnam, everyone continued to train at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
Currently, all athletes of the Vietnamese athletics team are training at high intensity towards ASIAD 20, so there is no break time.
The Vietnamese athletics team competed in 4 events at the 2026 Asian Relay Championships including 4x100m women's, 4x400m men's, 4x400m women's, 4x400m mixed men's and women's.
In which, we won gold medals in the men's 4x400m relay (breaking the national record when achieving a time of 3 minutes 01 seconds 60) and the women's 4x400m relay (3 minutes 31 seconds 16).
The competition composition of the 2026 Asian Relay Championship includes 16 players including Cam Tu, Thanh Truc, Phung Thi Hue, Du Y, Ha Thi Thu, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Quach Thi Lan, Tuyet Mai, Nguyen Thi Hang, Minh Hanh (female), Ngoc Tuong, Ngoc Phuc, Nhat Hoang, Xuan Quang, Dinh Son, Ngoc Khanh (male).
According to the professional preparation program, the coaching staff will continue to send some important athletes of the relay event group to train in China before participating in ASIAD 20.
However, at this time, the Vietnamese athletics team still ensures professional preparation, and has not specifically determined which individuals will compete in ASIAD 20 to maintain concentration throughout the team.
The ASIAD 20 athletics event has 46 events, held in Japan from September 24 to September 29.
