Market Management Team No. 10 (QLTT) - Hanoi Market Management Department said that the unit has just completed monitoring the forced destruction of more than 15 tons of expired pork belly of Quynh Huong Food Company Limited (Quynh Huong Food).
Previously, on August 11, 2025, Market Management Team No. 10 coordinated with Quang Minh Commune Police (Hanoi) to conduct a search of a frozen shipment of Quynh Huong Food Company Limited (located at Cluster 9, Ngoc Hoi Commune, Hanoi) being stored at HPC Kien Cuong Refrigeration warehouse, Lot 43B, Quang Minh Industrial Park.
The inspection results showed that all the goods were frozen pork belly produced abroad, packed in 786 cardboard boxes (20kg per box), with a total weight of 15,720kg.
The packaging is printed in foreign letters, with a Vietnamese sub-label, the expiration date is two years from February 16, 2022, which has expired since February 16, 2024.
Previously, the total amount of shipments was 796 boxes (15,920kg), the company had sold 10 boxes (20 kg), the remaining amount in the warehouse at the time of inspection was 786 boxes (15,720kg). The authorities have drawn up a record and temporarily detained all goods for handling according to regulations.

Based on the case file, the Hanoi Market Management Department later issued a decision to administratively sanction Quynh Huong Food Company Limited.
The decision clearly stated that Quynh Huong Food Company Limited had traded goods that were expired food. Pursuant to Point e, Point n, Clause 3, Article 31 of Decree No. 119/2017/ND-CP dated November 1, 2017 (amended and supplemented in Clause 50, 51, Article 2 of Decree No. 126/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021), the above company was administratively fined VND 8 million.
In addition, the company was also forced to return the amount corresponding to the value of the exhibits that were consumed in violation of regulations.
The remedial measure is to force the destruction of all violating goods, including 786 boxes of frozen pork bones (15,720kg). All destruction costs were paid by the enterprise.
