On July 5 (local time), the Vietnamese rescue team participating in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Venezuela took advantage of the time to organize a special trip.
That is to find makeshift tents in the Playa Grande area (La Guaira state), and give meaningful gifts to local people heavily affected by the disaster.
To get gifts to give to local people, members of the Vietnamese delegation took advantage of the time to rest at night, after a tiring day at the scene, to sort and pack. Each gift is a careful calculation, prioritizing the urgent needs of disaster areas, from masks, toilet paper to dry rations, canned meat, instant noodles...

We would like to share the great losses of Venezuela. These small gifts are the feelings of the Vietnamese delegation to you. We Vietnamese have gone through many hardships, so we deeply understand what you are facing. We believe that the resilience of the Venezuelan people will help you quickly overcome the current difficult period" - Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Department of Rescue and Relief (General Staff), Head of the Vietnamese delegation participating in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Venezuela, shared with local people.
