Highly appreciating and thanking Japan for its valuable support and cooperation in the legislative sector, as well as Japan's ODA and FDI capital for Vietnam's socio-economic development, the National Assembly Chairman affirmed that Vietnam considers Japan one of the top and long-term important partners; suggested that the two sides strengthen cooperation in four priority areas: economy, human resource training, people-to-people exchanges and local cooperation.
The National Assembly Chairman proposed promoting economic linkages, supporting Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the global supply chain, encouraging Japanese investment in the fields of high-tech agriculture, renewable energy and infrastructure; expanding high-quality training programs, exchanging students and workers, contributing to solving the problem of population aging in Japan and improving capacity for Vietnam.

The National Assembly Chairman also suggested that the two sides strengthen cultural and tourism exchange activities and close cooperation between the two countries' localities, continue to pay attention to and organize Mekong Cultural Tourism Day in Can Tho City, thereby deepening the friendship between the people of Vietnam and Japan.
Prime Minister Ishiba affirmed that Japan will continue to support Vietnam's development through enhancing high-tech industrial cooperation, training high-quality human resources, and semiconductors.
Prime Minister Ishiba agreed to continue to encourage Japanese enterprises to continue to increase investment in Vietnamese localities, including Can Tho City; affirmed supporting Vietnam in building infrastructure, responding to natural disasters, climate change, green transformation, digital transformation on the basis of promoting Japan's strengths; promoting labor cooperation, training high-quality human resources.
Having held the position of Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, Prime Minister Ishiba said that the Japanese agricultural sector is facing many difficulties; hoping that the two sides will promote stronger cooperation in the agricultural sector, including Japan's support for Vietnam in developing high-tech agriculture and digitalizing the agricultural sector.
