On August 19, the Party Committee of Hung Thanh commune, Dong Thap province held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.
At the congress, the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing the Hung Thanh Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 33 comrades, was announced. Mr. Tran Hoang Phong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hung Thanh Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress also agreed to approve 17 targets and 2 outstanding breakthroughs: coordinating the implementation of solutions to call for investment, rapid development of the industrial sector; promptly implementing regional planning with the orientation of developing high-tech industry, green industry, creating space for trade, service, urban development; striving to have at least one industrial park/cluster formed and put into operation in the area by 2030, ...
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - suggested that the Commune Party Committee in the new term should make the most of the local's existing potential and advantages to develop the economy in a sustainable direction. At the same time, promote economic restructuring, encourage the development of high-quality service industries; especially focus on attracting investment in industrial development to create a favorable environment for private economic development, contributing significantly to economic growth and creating jobs for people.
