The working group inspected 3 component projects of the North - South expressway in the East phase 2021 - 2025 in Ha Tinh, including: Bai Vot - Ham Nghi; Ham Nghi - Vung Ang; Vung Ang - Bung.
According to the report of the Thang Long Project Management Board (investor of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi and Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Expressway), after more than 2 years of construction, the output of the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway section (more than 35km long) has reached 80% of the contract value, the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section (more than 53km long) has reached 84.2% of the contract value, ensuring the set plan.
Project Management Board 6 (investor of Vung Ang - Bung expressway) said that the Vung Ang - Bung expressway section is 55.34km long, of which the section through Ha Tinh is 12.9km long with main items including: Deo But tunnel, main route and 5 basic bridges meeting the schedule.
Representatives of investors informed that currently, the construction of the North-South expressway through Ha Tinh does not have any difficulties or problems with land and construction materials. However, in recent times, the weather has had a lot of rain, making construction somewhat difficult.
Investors and contractors are committed to making the highest efforts to speed up the progress to basically complete the main route through Ha Tinh by April 30, opening the entire route from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri on June 30 under the direction of the Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of local authorities in site clearance, investors and contractors in ensuring construction progress.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that there is not much time left from now until June 30. Therefore, units must focus with the highest and fastest spirit to complete the goal of opening the main route of the North - South expressway in the East phase 2021 - 2025 from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri.
