On March 8, the Government Inspection Team led by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son worked in Tuyen Quang, reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to key transport projects planned to be completed in 2025.
For the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1) through Tuyen Quang province, there is currently 5.7 km of land that has not been handed over, lacking 0.35 million m3 of stone, lacking 1.97 million m3 of land. Construction output reached 28%, 7% behind schedule compared to the contract.
Tuyen Quang province proposed that the Government consider additional support of VND1,800 billion from the central budget in 2025 to complete phase 1 in 2025 and add VND5,437 billion to implement phase 2.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son requested that the site clearance for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project should be completely completed, and the telecommunications technical infrastructure should be relocated to hand over the entire site to the contractors for construction in March 2025. At the same time, urge the completion of items before December 31, 2025.
Regarding the capital source as proposed by the province, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to study and consider the proposal to supplement funding in Tuyen Quang province to promptly meet the capital demand in project implementation.
