Hanoi - On the morning of May 19, in Dong Anh district, Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tu Lien Bridge and Road 2 at the bridge end.

On the morning of May 19, the City People's Committee organized the construction of the Tu Lien Bridge Construction Project and the two ends of the bridge (from the intersection with Nghi Tam Street to the intersection with Truong Sa street) at the project intersection with Truong Sa Street (Km4+400).

The ceremony was attended by Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates.

The investment in the construction of Tu Lien Bridge and the route from Tu Lien Bridge to the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway plays an important role to quickly connect the northern region, the northeast of the Red River, Thai Nguyen province through the Hanoi highway, promote the process of urbanization, population relaxation, reduce the load for Chuong Duong, Long Bien, Thang Long, Vinh Tuy and reduce traffic pressure in core urban areas.

At the same time, gradually complete the general planning for the construction of Hanoi Capital, the planning for the development of Hanoi transportation, ensure security and defense for the Capital and develop a modern urban space on both sides of the Red River.
