The President of the Czech National Assembly expressed his high agreement with the cooperation orientations raised by the General Secretary, affirming that he and the Czech National Assembly will personally strive to coordinate with the Vietnamese National Assembly, support the Government and local ministries and branches to promote traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, on the basis of mutual respect with Vietnam. In that spirit, the Czech National Assembly is ready to mobilize the remaining EU member states to soon ratify the Vietnam - EU Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA).
The two leaders agreed to note that, in addition to the very good historical foundation of relations, the two countries also possess invaluable assets to continuously promote bilateral relations in the coming time. That is the sincere and affectionate affection that the people of the two countries have for each other; That is the recognition of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic as an ethnic minority; That is tens of thousands of Vietnamese experts and engineers who have been trained in the Czech Republic and about 300,000 Vietnamese people who understand the Czech language. These are important bridges to connect two peoples, two markets, two economies and two countries. The two sides agreed to accelerate the development, unification and implementation of the Action Plan to implement the content of the Vietnam - Czech Strategic Partnership, turning the potential and strengths into specific, substantive and effective cooperation projects, meeting the wishes and interests of both sides.
