In order to exploit the potential of local tourism, especially the value of UNESCO Global Geopark, Lang Son province has just issued Resolution No. 19/2025/NQ-HDND with a series of policies to strongly support the development of community tourism in the period of 2025-2030.
According to the Resolution, organizations and individuals investing in tourist areas and destinations will be supported with funding of up to 500 million VND to build infrastructure such as solar power systems, parking lots, public toilets, and value exhibition rooms of UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark.
In particular, households directly participating in community tourism businesses can receive a maximum support of 100 million VND to renovate their houses, purchase equipment, and build standard toilets to serve tourists.
Lang Son will support the establishment and maintenance of art troupes and mass art clubs in the locality with developed tourism, with support levels of up to 50 million VND for new establishments and 30 million VND per year for maintaining operations.
Organizations and individuals are also supported with up to 90 million VND for restoring traditional crafts for tourism, and up to 60 million VND to produce souvenir products with Lang Son characteristics such as relic models, local symbols or items associated with indigenous culture.
Human resources for tourism are also focused on with policies to support the organization of professional training and vocational training classes up to 50 million VND/class or 5 million VND/person/c course.
For domestic and foreign tourism promotion activities, businesses will be supported with costs of up to 100 million VND/participation, depending on the area.
One of the outstanding new points is the policy of supporting bank loan interest rates up to 50% for a maximum period of 5 years, with the supported outstanding debt not exceeding 2 billion VND/project, for organizations and individuals investing in community tourism.
All support policies are implemented according to the principles of publicity, transparency and priority for areas with potential for tourism development. Each subject is only supported once for each policy content in the period of 2025-2030.
The Resolution officially takes effect from July 25, 2025, replacing Resolution No. 17/2020/NQ-HDND. This is considered an important boost for Lang Son to transform, making community tourism a spearhead economic sector in the new era.
