Conversely, you should not eat yogurt on an empty stomach or too late at night. When the stomach is empty, high stomach acid can reduce the effectiveness of beneficial bacteria. Eating yogurt close to bedtime, especially sugary ones, can cause mild digestive disorders and are not beneficial for the liver.
