On January 2, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the unit had just organized the presentation of gifts from the Ministry of Public Security to households heavily affected by natural disasters in the province during the New Year 2026.
On this occasion, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police presented gifts from the Ministry of Public Security to the family of Ms. Do Thi Bich Phuong, residing in D'ran commune. The gift to support Ms. Phuong's family on the occasion of the inauguration of a new house is worth 50 million VND.
Ms. Phuong's family is the first household among 30 households affected by natural disasters to receive gifts from the Minister of Public Security. The remaining gifts will be handed over to households by Lam Dong Provincial Police in the near future.

With 30 gifts, worth a total of 1.5 billion VND, the support of the Ministry of Public Security shows deep concern, is a practical source of encouragement to help families overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
Within the framework of implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" in Lam Dong province, the Ministry of Public Security has supported each family whose house collapsed due to floods with 50 million VND; thereby increasing the total support for building new houses for each household in Lam Dong to at least 170 million VND/house.

To ensure construction progress, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police have assigned specific tasks to each professional unit, coordinated with commune police forces to contribute manpower, working days, support transportation of materials, and at the same time supervise and urge construction units to accelerate progress.
According to the plan, in the "Quang Trung Operation" at lightning speed, Lam Dong Provincial Police were assigned to build 27 new houses for people and have now completed and handed over 10 houses.

Previously, on December 31, 2025, the Command of Military Region 7 coordinated with the Military Command of Lam Dong province and local authorities to hand over 4 new houses to the people of D'ran commune.
These are houses built by Military Region 7 in the "Quang Trung Campaign", supporting local people affected by floods in November.
Among the 4 houses just handed over, Division 5 (Military Region 7) coordinated with Tay Nam Company to build 2 houses for the families of Mr. Mai Ngoc Hiep and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Duy, with a total cost of more than 900 million VND (450 million VND/house).
The remaining two houses were built by Brigade 25 (Military Region 7) in coordination with Dong Hai Company for the families of Ms. Dang Thi Be and Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, with a total cost of nearly 920 million VND (460 million VND/house).

According to leaders of Lam Dong province, up to now, all 84 houses that need repair have been completed; 41 houses that need to be newly built have all been started, of which 15 houses have been handed over to people in time before the New Year.
The remaining houses are being urgently completed, striving to be completed before January 15, 2026, so that people can celebrate the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year in new homes.
