This morning, in the eastern localities of Lam Dong province, floodwaters from upstream flooded and rose very quickly. Many residential areas were submerged in water up to 2m deep. In Son Dien commune, prolonged heavy rain has caused many landslides, broken trees, Gia Bac Pass, National Highway 28 has been cut off since 9:00 p.m. last night (December 3). This morning, landslides continued to occur on National Highway 28 at many locations, breaking the 220v power pole that transmits electricity to residential areas in villages in Son Dien commune.
Son Dien Commune Police mobilized 100% of the force to coordinate with the forces participating in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level to urgently overcome landslides and support the evacuation of people to safe places.

This morning, Ham Thang Ward People's Committee issued an emergency evacuation order due to floods. Hundreds of households in Kim Binh, Kim Ngoc, Ung Chiem and Thang Hoa, Phu Thanh and Phu Hoa, Phu Thinh, Phu Xuan, Phu My... are being urgently evacuated by authorities to safe locations.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said: Floodwaters are causing flooding, locally cutting off many vital traffic routes. Currently, National Highway 1A, section Km 1678, in Hong Son Commune, is flooded with water, vehicles cannot move.

The Phan Thiet - Vinh Hao Expressway is experiencing a landslide at Km215, North - South direction, with high water flooding the road. The Phan Thiet - Dau Giay route is also flooded in both directions at Km25. Currently, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Province and the Traffic Police Department are regulating, dividing traffic flows, and guiding vehicles to travel on appropriate routes.
