On the morning of September 2, a leader of the People's Committee of Mai Hoa commune said that a young man in the area had just gone to catch frog and then drowned.
Accordingly, on the evening of September 1, Mr. N.T.D (17 years old, residing in Bong Giang village 1, Mai Hoa commune) went to catch frog and could not return until the morning of September 2.
After receiving the information, Mai Hoa Commune Police coordinated with relevant forces to conduct the search.
At around 8:00 a.m. on September 2, Mr. D's body was discovered on the riverbank in My Ngoc village, Mai Hoa commune.
The authorities determined that the cause of Mr. D's death was drowning.
Afterwards, Mai Hoa Commune Police handed over the victim's body to the family for funeral and burial.
Previously, on September 1, Mr. N.D.N (71 years old, residing in village 2, Tu My commune, Ha Tinh province) went to cast a net in the field in front of the Tu My commune People's Committee headquarters and drowned.
On the evening of August 30, Mr. N.V.Q (born in 1982, residing in Thien Thai village, Toan Luu commune, Ha Tinh province) went fishing in the Ke bridge area in Thien Thai village and drowned.
