250 billion VND stadium
The Bac Kan Provincial Stadium project will start construction in early 2024, with a total investment of VND 252 billion and an area of over 20 hectares.
The project includes a stadium with a capacity of 8,000 seats, which can be increased to 15,000 seats. The stadium is inspired by the rice husk boat in the legend of Ba Be Lake. The two sides of the main stand are designed with canvas roofs like sails overcoming the waves, combined with the shape of the famous Lung Nham rock mountain range.
The square project is highlighted by the 7-petal flower symbol. The project is expected to be put into use at the end of 2025.
According to the reporter's records at the end of October, hundreds of workers and machinery are carrying out construction. The leveling process moves a large amount of earth and rock from high places to low places.
According to the investor, the 0.4kV line project has been completed. The 110kV line is in progress, reaching over 83%. The leveling and drainage works have reached 60%.
Road connecting Nam Cat Lake
The Nam Cat Lake access road project will start construction in September 2023 with a total investment of VND 226 billion. The route has a total length of more than 6.5km.
This is a key project that helps connect the city center with Nam Cat reservoir, serving tourism development.
To implement the project, Bac Kan City reclaimed more than 32 hectares of land. Currently, a resettlement plan has been established for 25 households, of which 11 households are eligible for resettlement land allocation, 11 households are eligible for residential land compensation, and 3 households are being verified for consideration.
According to the Bac Kan City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the unit has requested the contractor to mobilize maximum machinery and human resources for construction. The project progress is on schedule, striving to complete earlier than expected.
In package 14, nearly 59% of the work volume has been achieved. Currently, we are continuing to dig and fill the roadbed, build drainage culverts, water intake steps, and construct precast structures.
Huyen Tung Industrial Park
Huyen Tung Industrial Park's technical infrastructure (phase 1) started construction in August 2021. To date, the construction volume has reached 98%.
Important items such as leveling the ground and water supply and drainage have been completed. Currently, only 3 households are waiting to be relocated to complete the entire project.
According to the reporter, at the Huyen Tung Industrial Park, investors are building a factory. It is expected to go into production in 2025.
According to Mr. Vo Quoc Toan - Director of Bac Kan City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the unit is focusing on coordinating to resolve problems related to site clearance so that the projects can be completed on schedule.
At the same time, propose the City People's Committee to promptly allocate capital for projects. Direct specialized departments to speed up land acquisition for key projects such as the road to Nam Cat Lake and Huyen Tung Industrial Park.
