On January 2nd, Le Ninh Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a deep hole had just appeared in the area on National Highway 9B, section passing Km26+950.
According to initial information, on the same morning, people in hamlet 2 Quyet Tien, Le Ninh commune discovered a deep hole at Km26+950 on National Highway 9B. The hole has a depth of about 3m, an area of about 4m2.
Immediately after the discovery, functional forces planted warning signs and cordoned off dangerous areas to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing by.
On the morning of January 2nd, Construction and Trading Development Joint Stock Company 909 proceeded to stone and level the road surface, temporarily repairing the deep pit location at Km26+950 National Highway 9B.
