News from the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) on November 20 said: The prolonged heavy rain and deep flooding over a wide area caused many difficulties in power restoration.
As of the afternoon of November 20, there were still 553,250 households and customers who had not been restored to power due to many isolated grid lines and transformer stations, of which the number of customers without power had increased by more than 349,000 households compared to the same time yesterday.
Since the flooding incident began, a total of 1,010,720 customers have been affected. EVNCPC units have made efforts to restore power to 457,470 customers (45.3%), the number of customers with power outages accounts for 11.2% of the total number of customers in the Corporation.
Currently, EVNCPC has 11,562 distribution transformer stations that are flooded or without power. By this morning, the technical force had restored 5,785 stations, while 5,777 stations could not be reached due to flooding. The estimated unused capacity is 283.6 MW, equivalent to 7.3% of the maximum capacity of the entire system.
According to the locality, in Gia Lai, there are still 152,648 customers and 1,770 stations that have not been restored, with an estimated capacity of 72 MW; in Dak Lak, the most serious situation is with 276,033 customers and 2,728 stations, with an un supplied capacity of 123.2 MW.
Khanh Hoa currently has 120,597 customers and 1,157 transformer stations affected. Of which, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company still has 29,235 customers, 343 stations, with a capacity of 15.6 MW; Khanh Hoa Power Company (old Ninh Thuan) still has 91,362 customers, 814 stations, with a capacity of 66.1 MW.
In Da Nang alone, there are 3,972 customers and 48 transformer stations that have not been supplied with electricity, with an interrupted capacity of about 1.8 MW.
