Hanoi City Police have had initial information about the series of accidents that occurred this afternoon (July 23) on Kham Thien Street (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, Hanoi).
Accordingly, at around 5:00 p.m. on July 23, in front of house number 87 Kham Thien Street, a car with license plate 30F-498.XX traveling from Kham Thien to Le Duan collided with 8 motorbikes, 1 electric motorbike and a man standing on the road (taken to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency care).
Immediately after the incident, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police mobilized forces to the scene to coordinate with Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police and related units to regulate traffic and prevent congestion; organize security and examination of the scene to investigate and clarify the incident.
The preliminary investigation determined that the driver was Mr. N.V.T (born in 1971, residing in Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi) with a valid driving license.
A quick inspection did not detect Mr. N.V.T with alcohol or drug levels.

Currently, the authorities are urgently investigating, clarifying the cause of the incident and resolving it according to the law.
