Previously, at 12:8 on July 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police received a report about a case of being swept away by floodwaters in the spillway area in Tien Hai village, Dien Xa commune (old Tien Yen district area).
The victim was identified as T.T.T (born in 2013), residing in the locality.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Tien Yen area quickly mobilized forces with full equipment and rescue vehicles to set out for the mission.
Through grasping the situation, currently, 50 people from local forces including leaders of commune authorities, military forces, commune police, civil defense, and security forces of Dien Xa commune and the Defense Command of Region 2 have urgently deployed the search coordination.
At the scene, the rescue and relief forces organized 4 search teams using buoys and rafts to move along both banks of the river and deployed a net to surround the downstream area where the incident occurred. The search was conducted urgently and seriously with the highest sense of responsibility, making efforts to find the victim as soon as possible.
