Lam Dong - According to preliminary statistics, up to now, floods have caused at least 3 deaths and 1 missing person.

On the afternoon of November 20, Lam Dong provincial authorities informed that complicated floods in recent days have caused at least 3 deaths and 1 missing person, all in Lac Duong commune.

On the afternoon of November 19, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dan (44 years old, residing in Da Hoa village, Lac Duong commune) died due to a landslide while gardening. Mr. Dan's body was found by the rescue team.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Thao (35 years old, living in Bac Giang province) was swept away by floodwaters in Sub-area 122 when his sturgeon farm was flooded. The victim has not been found yet.

On the morning of November 20, two gardeners in Sub-area 141 (Lac Duong commune) were killed by fallen trees. The victims were Mr. Bui Van Duan (31 years old, from Thanh Hoa) and Ms. Kon So K En (39 years old, residing in village 6, Lac Duong commune).

Currently, the bridge over the stream to the accident area has been washed away, causing rescue forces to not be able to reach and bring the bodies out.

Regarding the flood situation, there are currently 10 people stuck in the flooded area of Sub-area 132, Lac Duong commune.

The commune's forces have coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police to make efforts to approach the scene to ensure the safety of the victims.
