Lam Dong - While gardening, a man in Lac Duong commune was unfortunately killed by a collapsed positive slope, buried in rocks and soil.

On the afternoon of November 20, the leader of Lac Duong commune said that after many efforts, the rescue team had found the body of Mr. N.N.D (44 years old), residing in Thieu Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa province, temporarily residing in Lac Duong commune. Mr. D was buried in a pile of rocks and soil due to a landslide on the positive slope.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on November 19, Mr. D was gardening in a greenhouse, on Road 10, Doc Tinh, Lac Duong Commune when he was suddenly surrounded by a large amount of rock and soil from the positive slope. The family lost contact with the victim.

After receiving the report, the leaders of the Mobile Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police deployed forces to the scene and urgently searched.

Officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police coordinated with local forces to dig and search for Mr. D. This morning, the dog was also mobilized to the scene to serve the search for the location of the victim buried deep under the layer of rocks and soil.

After many hours of effort, at noon on November 20, Mr. D's body was found by the authorities. The victim was taken away from the scene and handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.

Following the direction of the Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, in recent days, the police of units and localities in the province have been on duty with 100% of their forces, proactively responding to the complicated developments of floods and natural disasters.
