On the morning of October 30, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quyen - Chairman of Huong Pho Commune People's Committee - said that at around 8:00 p.m. on October 29, Mr. N.A.N (residing in village 9, Huong Khe commune, Ha Tinh province) suddenly returned to his father-in-law's house in Chu Le village, Huong Pho commune after 2 days of being missing, suspected of committing suicide by jumping off the bridge.
According to Mr. Quyen, after Mr. N returned home, the authorities came to work and grasped the situation and the cause of the previous "disappearance".
Through work, it was determined that it could be due to a love conflict that N had such a strange act to threaten her relatives.
Previously, at around 11pm on October 27, people discovered Mr. N's motorbike with license plate 38B1 - 510xx parked in the Huong Thuy bridge area (in Huong Pho commune).
Discovering an ownerless motorbike on the bridge, people suspected that someone had jumped off the bridge, so they reported it to the authorities.
Along with the previous, on Mr. N's personal Facebook page, there was a negative status line, so relatives and authorities added that he jumped off the bridge to commit suicide.
Therefore, when they lost contact with Mr. N, relatives and authorities organized a search for 2 days but to no avail.
Finally, Mr. N returned home surprised, making his relatives both happy and angry because he had made them a weakness, lost sleep and searched for them.
