On the morning of October 31, observing the flood water level receding rapidly, many people in Hoi An ancient town took the opportunity to buy brooms and basins to clean their houses.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Linh (character's name has been changed, living on Tran Phu Street) shared that a few days ago, the water was up to the hips of adults, so her family had to quickly move all their belongings to avoid damage.
Many people on the street today are also busy cleaning their houses to stabilize their lives.

"Although the floodwaters receded quickly, some residential areas were still deeply flooded, without power, and without clean water, so people had to ask the authorities to provide water" - Ms. Linh said.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to splash the water and scrap the leftover mud, Mr. Tran Van Hiep (character's name has been changed, living in Hoi An ancient town) just hoped the water would recede quickly so that people could quickly stabilize their lives.
According to Mr. Hiep, today, his family and other family members also rearranged their belongings when the floodwaters receded strongly, cleaned up the belongings, and cleaned the entire house.
