On July 31, at the Concentrated Administrative Center - facility 2 in Binh Duong area, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee worked with departments, branches and units to listen to reports on the situation of job placement for officials.
According to reports from departments and branches, after 1 month of operating the local government at 2 levels, in addition to advantages, cadres also encountered some difficulties in travel time from the old Binh Duong to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to work such as: not finding accommodation, not having official housing.
In addition, some departments, branches and units have not yet arranged enough workplaces for staff at their headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.

From that reality, the units hope to be assigned to work at the affiliated units at the Binh Duong Region 2 Administrative Center. Thereby, facilitating the implementation of assigned tasks, avoiding waste of invested facilities and equipment.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assessed that the operation of local government at both levels has achieved many positive results according to the plan. However, the operation process also encountered many difficulties and problems.

According to Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, through the opinions at this meeting, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will synthesize the difficulties, inadequacies, and recommendations of agencies to propose to the Ho Chi Minh City leaders to adjust to suit the current situation. Mr. Bui Minh Thanh also suggested that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance continue to allocate funds to maintain the normal operation of the Binh Duong Region 2 Administrative Center.
According to Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, the general spirit is to create the most favorable conditions for departments, branches, cadres, civil servants, and public employees to complete their tasks well. At the same time, it will effectively use the headquarters, saving time and costs.
