Solutions to connect Tan Son Nhat and Long Thanh airports by road and rail
Ho Chi Minh City is simultaneously implementing belt, high-speed and urban railway projects to enhance the connection between Tan Son Nhat airport and Long Thanh airport.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, the entire Southeast region currently has 6 road projects being implemented to enhance connectivity to Long Thanh airport.
The 207 km long Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project, connecting the three localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh, is in the investment preparation stage, expected to start construction between 2026 and be completed in 2028.

Disburse about VND2,400 billion to compensate for the construction site of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 through the old Binh Duong
On December 6, the Land Fund Development Center is coordinating with 10 communes and wards to speed up the implementation of the component project of site clearance for Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, the section passing through the old Binh Duong area. This is one of the important transport infrastructure projects connecting Ho Chi Minh City with neighboring provinces. The project has been under construction since June 2025.

The project's site clearance is 27.83 km long and has some intersection locations. The area of recovered land is 250.46 ha. The project affects 1,598 households, individuals and organizations. It is expected that 300 cases will be resettled. See more...
Over 920 million VND to support people in areas affected by floods
On December 6, Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union said that as of 5:00 p.m. on December 5, the unit and socio-political organizations had received a large amount of cash, goods, and necessities to support people affected by natural disasters and floods.
Of which, more than 643 million VND was received in cash and transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, and the entire amount was transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front.
In addition, all goods and necessities were donated to people in affected areas with a total value of more than 282 million VND; along with 417 packs of clothes were transported to the damaged areas to provide timely support to people in difficulty. See more...
Police block off the area of a house fire in an alley that killed one person in Ho Chi Minh City
The incident occurred at around 7:00 a.m. the same day, when smoke and fire suddenly flared up fiercely on the first floor of a house in alley 72, street No. 4, Hiep Binh ward (formerly Thu Duc city).
Discovering the fire, people nearby used mini fire extinguishers and water to put out the fire but failed.

Upon receiving the report, local authorities and professional fire fighting forces under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police (area 2) quickly dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. See more...
