In recent years, Phu Binh district (Thai Nguyen province) has continuously invested in upgrading the infrastructure system. The construction of water supply works is considered one of the important highlights.
The Clean Water Plant project in Huong Son town (Phu Binh) invested by Phu Binh Water Supply Company Limited, with a total capital of nearly 100 billion VND, was constructed on an area of over 14,000m2 from May 2024 over a period of 14 months.
The project includes the following items: pumping station, water treatment system, tank and water supply pipeline network to communes. The designed capacity is expected to be 10,000m3/day and night.

In the future, the capacity will be increased to 30,000m3/day and night to ensure supply for the whole district and neighboring areas.
On June 12, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that after more than 1 year of implementation, the project site has been completed.
At the construction site, under the sun of more than 37 degrees Celsius, workers are still working hard. The sound of the machines resounds, the construction progress is being accelerated, urgently completing the technical infrastructure items of the factory.
According to Ms. Luong Thi Huong (Phu Binh), people have high expectations for the project, because when the plant comes into operation, it will reduce costs for households that have to install individual water treatment systems.
"With a stable water supply system, we are less likely to have to worry about installing our own water, and also limit potential risks from unsafe water sources," Ms. Huong added.
According to local people, the water plant project not only helps complete the water supply network but also serves long-term development.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Son town (Phu Binh) said that the Phu Binh water plant project is currently in the implementation phase, expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025.
"This is one of the meaningful projects in the locality. When completed, the factory will ensure stable clean water supply for people, while meeting the needs of industrial clusters and new residential areas of the district in the future," the town leader added.
